YO!

Moley mentioned how Yo! by Shinhwa took the world by storm. What music videos do you think revolutionized fic trends? Which ones were just plain fanficcy? I know… they all are in a sense! But if you really had to choose which ones stood out to you, what would be your top 3?

For me… Shinhwa’s Yo! and All Your Dreams MV’s tie as number one in my heart ^^;; Tashannie’s Haru Haru follows after. Then… perhaps Kiss’s Because I’m A Girl… but that may just be a really “easy” quick answer from me for now haha~~

I’m going to give it more thought (; but I’d love to hear from you guys as well! Please reblog/reply with your responses :D

teaser: SAEHEE
  • fancracked: What is it about fanfiction/fandom that keeps us coming back again and again even after we "promise" to go on hiatuses/permanent leave ?
  • saehee: Because humans love to love. Some people will direct it elsewhere, but once you're a fangirl... and you've experienced that kind of passion that comes with being a fan - it's hard to resist it. Even after getting hurt/being disappointed... someone else will come along and your inner fangirl won't be able to resist because loving/being a fan is what she does best. Over time, real life tells you that other things are more important and that you ought to get your priorities in order but that doesn't mean she isn't there anymore. You just suppress her so that you can be 'normal' and function properly in society hahaha but if the right kind of... trigger comes along, the rabid fangirl will come out - even if you don't want her to haha

interview w romelee!
  • fancracked: What fics do you think were really popular/could be used as "highlights" of kpop fanfiction from 02/when you started til now?
  • romelee: Definitely the ones that really sparked an interest in writing and reading more for myself. What I Did For Love by Val, Glass Rose by Ji_Eunie, Jeanie/4tAngG’s fics and The Bum Who Fell into the Pothole by lilshinhwafreak! Those were such a variety of really well thought out, well written fanfics that really captured the kpop culture and captured what is the potential of every writer and reader out there. I think every tug in the heart, laughter-ensued, bittersweet drama and classic gangster fic definitely highlighted kpop fanfiction.

I’m interested in researching the demographics of the fanfiction community but I need your help before I make an official poll ^^;;

Please help me figure the top 10 ethnic groups that frequent the fic world (:

  4. hmong
  5. filipino

I’ll leave an eleventh slot for any other ethnic groups that may have been missed, but it’d be greatly appreciated if you could help me fill in the rest ^^*
